I love nothing more than chilling in my slacks on a Sunday with a fresh face totally make-up free, layered in dewy, promising beauty products.
I’m often a skeptic when it comes to beauty products which is why I don’t have a beauty blog but that doesn’t mean I don’t indulge in trying out a few products or slathering my face with serums and creams at the department store [yes I’m guilty of being that girl that every beauty counter assistant hates].
But every now and then, I do give a product the benefit of the doubt. My favourite are the ones shown here [and they actually work, yay].
The Phillip Kingsley elasticizer is great if you want thick hair, especially if you’re low maintenance and lazy like me. Simply apply a small amount a couple of hours before washing your hair and voila; bouncy, voluminous, elastic hair.
Sunday is rest day and it’s also a rest day for my poor face that gets slapped with cenment-like foundation with an added coating of soot from the London underground on a daily basis. So I do like to take everything off to allow my skin to breathe on a Sunday.
The Clinique 3 step system does just this and leaves your face feeling clean and fresh for a whole day.
and finally Lancome’s visionnare is a product I have used for 3 years. It’s a serum with the ability to correct uneven skin texture, wrinkles and pores.
If any of you go out to try these products let me know how you find it and if there’s anything you think I’ll like, get in touch! xoxo
